COVID-19 Visitation Policies

For the safety of all our guests, staff, and volunteers, and to comply with the state of Arkansas mandate, the Momentary requires all individuals age 10 and older are required to wear a face covering indoors and outdoors. This state order requires every person in Arkansas to wear a face covering of the mouth and nose in all indoor and outdoor environments where there is exposure to non-household members and social distancing cannot be assured. Accordingly, face coverings should be worn on the Momentary Green when close contact with non-household members could occur, including for programs and events, as well as at food and drink venues, except when eating and drinking. Masks are available upon entry and at outdoor events and venues for those who do not have one.

By choosing to visit the Momentary, you pledge that you and your party are feeling well and not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19: fever, cough, chills, and/or difficulty breathing. You also pledge that you are not aware of anyone in your party having COVID-19 in the last 14 days, nor been knowingly exposed to a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present: we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit.

General Rules


Please do not touch works of art or frames

Any contact can damage a painting or sculpture. These pieces are going to last longer than any of us — let’s try to keep them intact for the next generation.


Take all the pics you want for your own personal use, but protect the art — please don’t use tripods, drones, monopods, or flash.

Visiting the Momentary or participating in the Momentary’s programs constitutes an agreement by the visitor or participant and/or the parent or guardian to allow the museum to photograph or film visitors or program participants, without compensation, for possible use in publicity.

Food & Drink

No outside food and drinks, please. We have all the good food and drinks here.


Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in all indoor public spaces.


Pets are welcome on the Momentary Green and outdoor gathering areas, but they are NOT allowed inside the building. We do allow assistance animals inside.


The Momentary campus is tobacco-free — please do not smoke!


No weapons are permitted on the grounds or inside our spaces.

Wheeled Recreational Device (WRD)

All guests on the Momentary campus will adhere to all principles outlined in the guideline.  Persons may ride upon any sidewalk used for guest/pedestrian purposes, subject to the following restrictions:

  • The use of the WRD for stunts, tricks, racing, and other behaviors that put pedestrians at risk is strictly prohibited in guest thoroughfares; specifically, the Momentary front entrance, the outdoor RØDE House seating area, or other areas where groups of pedestrians are gathered.
  • WRD may not be used in any manner that interferes with pedestrian foot traffic and operators must yield the right away to pedestrians entering, exiting, or navigating the Momentary grounds.
  • Operators must ride carefully and remain in control of the WRD at all times and must not demonstrate behaviors that place bystanders at risk while operating the device on Momentary grounds.
  • Intentionally defacing any architectural or landscape features is prohibited.
  • Trick riding is prohibited near artwork and on artwork barriers at all times.

Persons using roller skates or rollerblades must remove them before entering any Momentary building. All skateboards must be carried by user when inside any Momentary area.


The Momentary is committed to making the galleries and grounds accessible for all visitors. Please note that our efforts to make our website, programs, and spaces more accessible are ongoing. A number of on-site accommodations are offered for guests with disabilities in order to assure an enjoyable and engaging experience. Below is a list of amenities available.


A limited number of wheelchairs and walkers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, at no cost. These items can be requested from Box Office staff in the Lobby.


All interior spaces of the Momentary are fully wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair and family-accessible restrooms and elevators are located throughout the museum. Personal wheelchairs, canes with rubber tips, and motorized mobility devices are also permitted in the Momentary.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome at the Momentary. The Momentary abides by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and allows service animals, that is, animals trained to do work or perform specific tasks for the benefit of an individual with disabilities, into all the public areas of the space. The ADA does not currently recognize emotional support animals, therefore emotional support animals and all other animals not specifically covered in the American with Disabilities Act will not be permitted within the Momentary. Other leashed pets must remain outside the building, which includes the Momentary Green.

Ticket Policies


Refund, Exchange, and Online Ticketing FAQS

All ticket sales, including ticketing and handling fees, are final and non-refundable.

A $3.50 ticketing fee per ticket will be applied to events at the Momentary that cost $10 and over, and are purchased online or over the phone This does not apply to festival tickets.

Indoor and outdoor festivals at the Momentary will have a $8.50 handling fee and tax applied to all ticket purchases, per ticket. Revenue collected from sales tax is remitted to the State of Arkansas.

Event tickets purchased from a source other than the Momentary or Crystal Bridges may not be honored for admission. The Momentary is not responsible for counterfeit tickets, so please exercise caution in making ticket purchases.

Every person who attends an event must have a valid ticket in order to gain admission. Ticket holders should be prepared to show a valid ID upon entry.

In the event of the Momentary closing or cancelation of a program, guest ticket orders will be refunded.

Exchanges of equal value may be made prior to five business days from the ticketed event. However, ticket availability for alternate dates is not guaranteed. Tickets are sold on a first-­come, first-­served basis.

What if I lost, damaged, or could not print my ticket?

A receipt or order number is required to provide a replacement ticket. The order number is listed in your purchase confirmation email. Present this at the Guest Services desk or call Guest Services at 479­.657.­2335.

Who do I contact if I have technical difficulties ordering tickets online?

Inclement Weather

Outdoor performances will be presented rain or shine. In the case of severe storms, delays or postponements are possible. Announcements will be made on location and via the Momentary social media platforms. Only in a rare event will a concert be canceled.

Prior to the performance, check the Momentary Instagram, Facebook page, or Twitter page for status updates. During the performance, weather-related messages are conveyed via loudspeakers, video displays, and Momentary social media channels.
